It would be something new and different from the other games in the series (let's not forget that each of them has its own unique gameplay style).Īt the beginning, 3 factions would be available - Germans, British (including Indian and South African troops) and Belgians. The smaller scale of the battles could be turned into an advantage and characteristic of this game - it would focus on irregular warfare and local skirmishes (any interesting ideas for implementation of this?). Of course, it's a fact that there were no major battles like on the Western (Verdun), Eastern (Tannenberg) or Italian (Isonzo) fronts, with casualties in the hundreds of thousands, but still some interesting clashes can be mentioned here, like the battles of Mahiwa, Tabora or Tanga. Unlike other German colonies, the fighting on this front lasted from the beginning to the end of the war (and even a little longer). ![]() ![]() It is quite a unique setting, full of various colonial formations (like German Schutztruppe, British King's African Rifles, Belgian Force Publique etc.). What do you think about a potential next WW1 Game Series game set during the 1914-1918 East African campaign)? ![]()
